That is how I would sum up the message which David Cameron delivered when asked about the thorny issue of immigration by Jeff Randall on Sky News last night.
The Tory leader has not exactly gone out of his way to raise the matter during his leadership, after the party courted criticism for making it too prominent an issue at the last general election.
However, he denied the suggestion that he had avoided discussing it and said the following:
“I think that immigration is too high, I think it needs to be limited and I think the numbers need to come down... I don’t think in any way I’ve shied away from this policy, but I wanted to make sure the Conservative Party would be listened to and heard as a bunch of reasonable people making a reasonable point. The problem in the past is whenever we’ve talked about this issue people questioned our motives – why are they doing that?”“I think it was very important to make it clear that we believe in a multiracial Britain. We believe it’s a success. We think immigration has been good for Britain in the past. We think immigration will continue, but not any immigration, not all immigration, it needs to be controlled."
Jonathan Isaby
Some misguided people believe that skin colour is of no consequence in matters relating to immigration.

I don't have an issue with skin colours mingling Franie, and I have no desire to think this country only belongs to white people, It doesn't. The UK is without a doubt multi-racial already and will continue to be this way. The thing which does irk me, is the way my culture is being threatened. If I could go back to the days of my Angle ancestors then I'd be equally happy sitting around a camp fire with any number of mixed races, but I'd be unhappy with some if they wanted to kick water on my fire, rip the tent down and demand the right to spoil my camp.
'Colour' is neither here nor there but culture is everything for it defines who you are not what you are. Also, neither one of us are supreme. Supremacy is an idea which came from the Ark, not from Angles nor did it come from Angels.

Excellent post, rugfish - I hope you get "Comment of the Day" for this one - you deserve to!
"I'd be equally happy sitting around a camp fire with any number of mixed races, but I'd be unhappy with some if they wanted to kick water on my fire, rip the tent down and demand the right to spoil my camp."
I think most of us agree on this!
I also heartily second what you say about "supremacy".

"I don't have an issue with skin colours mingling Franie, .............." Rugfish.
For example are you an indigenous white man/woman of European origin or are you a black man/woman of African origin? Which? Therefore skin colour is a part of your racial makeup which cannot be denied regardless of how much you would wish that fact to be otherwise. Furthermore, were a white homeland to become overwhelmed by non-white immigration eventually that country would become almost exclusively non-white comprising a mixture of individual races including a sizeable element of micegenated examples.
If that didn't constitute a major demographic transformation resulting from the greater loss and destruction of the indigenous inhabitants' living space(s) and racial genome, then what would?
Are you saying this is acceptable? If you are then you would have to admit that must also be OK for let's say, Africans to be dispossessed of their ancestral living spaces and miscegenated out of existence by Arabs, white Europeans, Indians and Mongoloids.
If Africans would see fit to resist the attempted genocide of their race, does that make them black supremicists or does the supremicist tag only apply to indigenous white Europeans when it's they who are resisting this very same attempted genocide? Well!
What Lefties also refuse to recognise and admit, is that if a race is extinguised in its own living space(s), its heritage culture, traditions and language will cease to prosper and eventually die out in its former living space(s) too.
