It's been fourteen months since ConservativeHome appealed for donations. Please click on the link below if you are willing to make a small donation to this site. All donations received will be used to pay for the running costs of the site - including the cost of the monthly survey - and for travel expenses to conferences and for new equipment purchases. Donations of £35 or more will be rewarded with a ConservativeHome mug.
Large donors get a mug - bloggers on other sites will have fun with that!
Somehow I doubt that Our Dear Leader, Dave will be getting his plastic out. Mind you his mugs work for him!

I've still not received a mug from when I last donated £30!
Posted by: Nicholas Slide | March 14, 2007 at 12:56
Sorry Nicholas. It was sent. I'm emailing you now!

Yes Nicholas you're right. Where are these mugs?!

Sam is currently ordering more so you'll all get them. Aren't you supposed to be on honeymoon, Mr Archer?
Posted by: Editor | March 14, 2007 at 14:16
I'm back! Back & more useless at politics and rational thinking than ever before!!
Honeymoon was great and all that but can't wait for NOTTINGHAM SPRING FORUM this weekend.

When the Conservative Party wakes up and returns to traditional values, such as hanging murderers, not allowing same sex couples to adopt children, reducing taxation and, above all, getting rid of the current worse-than-useless leader Call-Me-Dave, for a leader like David Davis (who has lived in the REAL world) - then and only then should it seek donations. True Conservative followers are sick and tired of hearing utterances which are at variance with traditional Toru values and tend to make Tony Blair look intelligent, a phenomenon which I always thought was unheard of. In short David Cameron is an utter, absolute and unmitigated millstone around the Conservative Party's neck

Are you coming out campaigning on Friay afternoon then Graham? Its usualy good fun, and Francis puts on a great buffet later!!
Posted by: Annabel Herriott | March 14, 2007 at 16:15
Just to be clear Chris, ConservativeHome isn't part of the Conservative Party.
Posted by: Deputy Editor | March 14, 2007 at 16:19
Yes Annabel -- my train arrives 3.36pm and I understand the hotel is very close to train station so am hoping to get there by 4. I sent an email to sign up for it anyway. Can I email you my mobile number in case I get lost?

As a low earning member of the Conservative Party I have to say "Back off" from Mr. Cameron, he is doing a great job (see latest polls!), he is making us electable again which would have been unthinkable 5 years ago!! I would just like to see more policies coming out re law & order, pensioners, public services, family values etc. Being very "Green" is great but it wont win elections on its own!!

Always getting rid of the leader is a tradition I am more than happy to break right now. And hanging murderers in the town square for fun on a Saturday afternoon is just so last year now, isn't it?
My donation to CH.com has just been taken by Paypal - it's more than worth it as a place to write on, debate and discuss the political issues of the day. Add to that the fact that it forms a crucial part of "care in the community" for the likes of Chris above and it becomes invaluable...
On other points raised, I hope to see some of you in Nottingham at the weekend. I'll try and get on the campaign bus - I've registered, but given my train times it might be bit of a push.

Are mugs still available for those who may donate lete?
My potential generosity will depend on your answer!

For "lete" read "late".

Of course

Getting a mug from Conservative Home is like waiting for a hip operation under New Labour - you get all the fancy blurb, you pay your Conservative Home taxes, but you have to wait for ages and ages. I look forward to getting my CH mug- after all I have only waited a year since I was promised one. Tim, my coffee granules and tea bags have been waiting a long time!!!!
