David Cameron joins Twitter

David Cameron has joined Twitter, as promised last month. The Prime Minister, who is tweeting as @David_Cameron, made his first posting on the social media site with this tweet:

Thus far Mr Cameron is following three collagues - William Hague, Jeremy Hunt, and Boris Johnson - and the Conservative Party's official account.
