Aspiration, deficit reduction, welfare, schools and the NHS - conference 2012's themes

Non-conference-goers may be aware of the Conservatives' slogan for Birmingham 2012 - "Britain Can Deliver".

Conference-goers, on the other hand, will have seen the banners in the main conference centre (pictured above) heralding Conservative/Coalition achievements and policies, which I have noted down:

  • "Rewarding aspiration"
  • "Deficit cut by 25%
  • "Backing enterprise"
  • "Welfare that works"
  • "Protecting the NHS"
  • "World-class schools"
