Nigel Farage is back as UKIP leader

By Paul Goodman

FARAGE-NIGEL-pinstripe And with over 60 per cent of the vote, too.

Tim Congdon, the economist, won 20% of the vote, David Campbell-Bannerman 14% and Winston McKenzie 5%.

The figures were as follows -

  • Nigel Farage                            6085
  • Tim Congdon                            2037
  • David Campbell Bannerman    1404
  • Winston McKenzie                    530

No great surprise there, then.  Farage was predicted to win handsomely - and has done so.
