Tory lead variously at 10%, 8%, 5% and 3% in tonight's four polls

The first two of at least fours polls tonight have just been published.

The fieldwork was done on Sunday and Monday and comparisons are with last Wednesday's AR poll.

Meanwhile there is a Populus poll for tomorrow's Times.

Again, comparison are from a week ago, and with the polling having been done yesterday and this morning, the impact of today's Conservative manifesto launch is yet to be felt.

Breaking down the voting intention figures by geography, in the South East the Conservatives were on 35%, Labour on 30%, and Liberal Democrats on 22%, but in the crucial battleground area of the Midlands, the Conservatives are on 40%, Labour 28% and Liberal Democrats on 17%.
