49% of voters may change their mind

Lynton Crosby has drawn my attention to these figures within today's Ipsos MORI poll:

  • Between Apr 7th – 11th 2005, 32% said they may change their mind.
  • Between Apr 21st – 25th 2005, 35% said they may change their mind.
  • Today, 49% said they may change their mind.

But if there's enormous fluidity, the Tory vote is most sure:

  • Of the Lib Dems voters, less than half - 44% - saying they’ve definitely decided to vote Lib Dem.
  • Of the Labour vote, 49% say they have definitely decided to vote Labour.
  • Of the Tory vote, 58% saying they’ve definitely decided to vote Tory.
