Never assume victory, work for it

1,994 Tory members took part in ConservativeHome's end-of-year survey. The survey found considerable optimism at the party's prospects for the General Election and an overwhelming view that polling day will be in May:

Margaret Thatcher used to have a motto on her desk that read, "Never assume victory, work for it." We need to remember that this year, too.
