PoliticsHome survey of 33,000 voters in marginal seats points to Tory majority of 70
PoliticsHome has just published its second survey of marginal seats. There is coverage in The Guardian. The poll of 33,610 voters in 238 constituencies suggests a Tory majority of 70.
The poll is not as bad news for Labour or the Liberal Democrats as last year's PoliticsHome poll. That poll had the Tories heading for a majority of 146. It had the LibDems down to 44 seats. This year's survey gets them to 55. This feeds my concern about Nick Clegg having equal status in any leadership debates.
