Cameron tells Tory MPs to pay back expenses as instructed by Legg - or stand down
Tim has already touched on the Legg letters this morning; but David Cameron has now made a very robust pronouncement: if Conservative MPs refuse to pay back the money, they will not be Conservative candidates at the next election.
He told breakfast television:
"In the end, if people are asked to pay back money and they don't pay it back, in my view they can't... stand as Conservative MPs."
