Daniel Hannan goes into bat for British expats in Spain

Another day, another YouTube video from Dan Hannan MEP.

Yesterday he spoke up for British expats in the Spanish costas. The urbanisation law in Valencia entitles mayors to seize property for infrastructure improvements such as street lighting or sewers. People have had their gardens and swimming pools confiscated without recompense, and may even then be billed for their hare of the infrastructure.

MEPs have had some success in modifiying the law, but are battling with Spanish MEPs.
