The battle for North Warwickshire

North Warwickshire Borough Council has all its seats up for election on May 5th. At present it is a Conservative Council with 20 Conservative and 15 Labour councillors. The Lib Dems are not even putting up candidates this time.

The Council has been innovative in creating more homes out of what had been previously been unused "Community Rooms."

The Conservative council has done a much better job of defending services than the neighbouring Labour Council of Nuneaton and Bedworth - which has taken the soft option of slashing funding for voluntary groups.

Furthermore North Warwickshire achieved a 1% Council Tax cut this year.
