Local elections 2011: The battle for Epsom & Ewell

All the seats are up for election on Epsom & Ewell Borough Council on May 5th. At present there is a large majority for the Residents Association. They have 24 seats against 10 for the Lib Dems and just four for the Conservatives.

However the Residents Association have been involved in a public spat after they deselected one of their senior councillors who then objected that he was being made a scapegoat for unpopular decisions buy the council.
