Labour councillor defects to Lib Dems

Cllr Ron Spellen, of Three Rivers District Council, has defected from Labour to the Lib Dems. Another Labour councillor, Cllr Phil Redshaw, has resigned from the Party after being deselected and will be dropping out of politics.

There were only three Labour councillors on Three Rivers to start with. There are 30 Lib Dems and 14 Conservative.
