Scottish Labour's Council Tax bombshell

Iain Gray, the Scottish Labour leader, says that if he becomes First Minister in the elections next year the Council Tax freeze will go. When Labour held  power in Scotland last time the Council Tax rose 60%.

The Scottish Conservative back keeping the Council Tax freeze.

Derek Brownlee MSP says:

"The Conservatives believe the answer is to spend less not tax more."
