The battle for Nuneaton and Bedworth

Nuneaton and Bedworth is a Conservative council with half the seats coming up for election on Friday.

The Nuneaton constituency is our 85th target seat. Some wards come under North Warwickshire Council. Of the relevant 13 wards, when last contested, eight were won by the Conservatives, four by Labour and one by the BNP. Good luck to Conservative candidate Marcus Jones. Marcus has gott stuck in to social action volunteering projects ranging from clearin litter off wasteland in Nuneaton to an initiave in Bosnia. He has been the council leader since the Conservatives came to power two years ago. Shadow Healh Secretary Andrew Lansley is among those who have joined him on the stump.
