Lib Dem councillor defects to Conservatives

If I was Nick Clegg I would be relieved that there has been so little evidence of defections from the Lib Dems since their coalition deal with the Conservatives. There are plenty of Lib dem councillors who regard themselves as being o he left and one might have expected a least a handful of them to quit.

However there is news of one Lib Dem defection - to the Conservatives. Cllr Annie Green has joined the Conservative Group on North Norfolk District Council. She became a Lib Dem because they asked her to become a councillor but was always "a Tory at heart."
