The battle for Warrington

Warrington Council has a Conservative/Lib Dem shared administration. A third of the seats are up for election on May 6.

In terms of the General Election Warrington South is our 97th target seat although Warrington North is probably too safe for Labour to be within our reach.

Of the 11 relevant wards for Warrington South when last contested the Conservatives won one, the Lib Dems eight and Labour one. However at the last General Election the Lib Dems were over four thousand votes behind us in third place. Good luck to the Conservative candidate David Mowat.
