The battle for Redditch

Redditch Council is Conservative controlled and has a third of the seats up for election on May 6.

The Redditch constituency is our 41st target. Of the 13 relevant wards when last contested nine went to the Conservatives, two went to the Lib Dems, two went to Labour. This offers a strong base. Good luck to our candidate Karen Lumley.

The sitting Labour MP, the former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is standing again despite being an expenses abuser.
