Conservatives fight every ward in London

Everybody in London will have a chance to vote Conservative in the borough Council elections on May 6. In Barking and Dagenham for the first time in many years there will be Conservative candidates in every ward (although not quite a full ticket in all of them. The number of Conservatives candidates has almost doubled with 44 this time compared to 23 last time. Last time there were no Conservative candidates in Parsloes Ward, Eastbury Ward or Valence Ward.

In Islington we have a full slate of candidates in every ward.  Unlike four years ago when the voters of Mildmay Ward had no Conservative candidates.

In Newham the Conservatives are fighting every ward with a pretty much full ticket. Last time around there was the odd gap.

I am not aware of a single ward across the whole London which does not have a Conservative candidate standing in it on May 6. That is good for the Conservative Party and good for democracy.
