Council byelection result

For reasons that are unclear to me the following byelection took place on Tuesday. The result was as follows:

Whyteleafe Ward, Tandridge.

Lib Dem 444 (57%. +3% on 2008.)

Conservative 236 (30.3%. -11% on 2008.)

UKIP 99 (13% +13% on 2008)

Labour didn't stand (-4.6% on 2008.)

Lib Dem hold
