Tory Council bans reindeer

I'm afraid that Conservative controlled Harborough District Council is the latest to be plunged into a scandal about health and safety absurdity. 12 reindeer were booked to entertain shoppers in Market Harborough. A very jolly idea and one organised by the Council.

But the Council own health and safety officers then decided to cancel it on the grounds of the snow and ice. Surely the reindeer are used to that sort of thing? The Council Taxpayers' money spent booking the reindeer will now be lost.

I am writing to the Council leader Cllr Alistair Swatridge to ask for his comments.
