Yesterday's Local Government by-election results

Three results from yesterday:

New Romney Coast ward, Shepway Council
Con - 452 (51%, +2)
Lib Dem - 333 (38%, -13)
UKIP - 94 (11%, +11)
Con Hold (councillor causing by-election was elected as a Lib Dem but defected to Con)

Totnes Bridgetown ward, South Hams Council
Lib Dem - 522 (52%, +33)
Green  - 265 (27%, +27)
Con - 162 (16%, +4)
Lab - 48 (5%, -5)
Lib Dem hold (UKIP and Ind did not stand, having previously attained 59% of the vote between them)

Trinity ward, East Devon
Con candidate elected unopposed
Con gain from Ind
