Council farm for sale

_46023978_f077b4e8-87d7-483c-a5ab-4efdb049915f Powys Council is putting one of their farms up for sale. They say that £2 million needs to be spent to get it up to scratch. So finding a buyer may be a challenge but it is sensible to try.

I was astonished to discover during the County Council election campaign that Staffordshire County Council is "one of the largest owners of farms in the country." I wonder how many other Councils include farms on their asset registers.
