A pothole every 120 yards.

Inspired by a Daily Mail article about potholes in Blackburn The Beatles famously sang: "I read the news today, oh boy. Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire. And though the holes were rather small. They had to count them all. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall."

The Independent reports today that the problem is even worse and that there is a pothole every 120 yards in Britain's roads.
