Could Newham be poised for a Tory councillor?

Newham has no had a Conservative councillor for the last 18 years. But, whisper it softly, that could be about to change. There is a byelection in the Royal Docks Ward on March 26. Given Labour's dominance in the borough it will be a tough fight but the Conservative candidate Neil Pearce is running a strong campaign. Last time we were 200 votes behind.
