Samuel Coates is Deputy Editor of ConservativeHome. Sam has been active in politics and journalism since secondary school and joined the Conservative Party early on. Brought up in Liverpool, he worked for the Liverpool Echo and Daily Post newspapers, and on a target seat election campaign. He was reading Politics and International Relations at Oxford Brookes University, but has largely put that on hold for now to work on ConservativeHome.
