Four more candidates have been chosen in the last few days to contest constituencies at next year's Welsh Assembly election.
The selection to have attracted most attention in the media is that of Dr John Marek (pictured) to contest the seat of Wrexham - which he represented for Labour in the Commons between 1983 and 2001, and in the Assembly between 1999 and 2003, before going on to win the seat as an Independent in 2003 for a four-year term.
He defected to the Conservatives in March this year.
Here are the latest Assembly selections in full:
- Clwyd South - Paul Rogers
- Newport West - David Williams
- Vale of Clwyd - Ian Gunning
- Wrexham - John Marek
