Last night Scott Seaman-Digby was victorious on the first ballot out of a field of six to be selected as candidate for Hayes and Harlington at a special general meeting of the local Conservative association.
Hayes-born and bred, he has been a Hillingdon councillor since 1998 and is a management consultant.
See his website for more.
He is challenging Labour Left-winger, John McDonnell, who defends a notional majority of 10,594 over the Conservatives. Scott requires a swing of 14.3% to gain the seat.
