The Mail on Sunday has already listed the women candidates chosen under David Cameron's leadership and the candidates from ethnic minorities.
Today it lists eleven openly gay MPs and candidates. I know of a few other names that could be on this list. Iain Dale has previously written that there are twenty to thirty gay candidates - a good number of which are standing in winnable seats.
My estimate is that the next parliamentary Conservative Party will include about one hundred women, ethnic minorities and gay people.
