Following the announcement by Richard Spring that he will step down at the general election, West Suffolk Conservatives are about to go about choosing a new candidate to replace him.
I gather that the provisional timetable is as follows:
- December 4th - The vacancy will be advertised;
- December 14th - Applications will close;
- Early January - The sift committee will shortlist six candidates;
- January 16th - Executive Committee to interview candidates;
- January 30th - Final selection meeting.
