1,596 Tory members answered the latest ConservativeHome survey on 22nd and 23rd November. We asked: "Julie Kirkbride MP is apparently considering standing again as an MP. Which of the following outcomes would you most like to see?" The answers are posted below:
- I'd like her to stand again if she wins the backing of her local Conservative Association: 14%
- I'd like her to stand again if she can win the votes of local people in a Totnes-style primary election involving all constituents: 24%
- I don't want her to stand again: 60%
