Blogger Iain Dale is quoted in a very positive piece in Boyz magazine about the Conservative Party's changing attitude to homosexuality saying that there are twenty to thirty "out" gay Tory candidates in target seats. That's probably about right.
Journalist David Bridle could not find a single Tory activist at the Manchester Party Conference who opposed "David Cameron’s hand of friendship to his gay supporters."

There have always been a very large number of gay and lesbian Tories. It will be an historic moment if twenty or more Tory MPs are openly gay after the next General Election.
