Today the Executive Committee of South West Norfolk Conservative Association have been hearing from the candidates shortlisted to replace Christopher Fraser as Conservative candidate for the seat at the next general election.
They are named in today's Eastern Daily Press (not online) as:
- Therese Coffey
- Christine Emmett
- David Rutley
- Elizabeth Truss
- James Tumbridge
- Clare Whelan
The candidate will be selected at a special general meeting of the association on October 24th and the victor will inherit a notional majority of 6,817 over Labour. It is not yet known whether all the above names will go through to the SGM...
