Edmonton Conservatives are holding a general meeting tonight to select their candidate for the next general election.
The three finalists are:
- Fiona Beverdige
- Andrew Charalambous
- Walaa Idris
The seat is currently held by Andy Love for Labour and he will defend a notional majority of 10,312 at the next election. The Conservative candidate would need a swing of 14.2% to gain the seat.
I will update the post with the winner's identity as soon as the news reaches me.
10pm update: Andrew Charalambous was selected on the first ballot. Read more about him on his website.
