Former Welsh Assembly member Lisa Francis was selected as the Conservative PPC for Dwyfor Meirionnydd at the weekend. Lisa was AM for Mid and West Wales between 2003 and 2007 and then served as Assembly spokeswoman on culture and the Welsh language.
Dwyfor Meirionnydd is held by Plaid Cymru by a projected majority of 8,101.
