No. 20: Professor Karol Sikora
Simon Chapman writes:
"I nominate Professor Karol Sikora, a cancer specialist and indefatigable advocate for healthcare reform. He would provide welcome radicalism in an area of policy where the party looks just a little timid.”
"He’s got immense experience, his commitment to patient care cannot be questioned, and he is a well-informed and consistent advocate of the need for wholesale reform of healthcare delivery."
Professor Sikora is a member of the steering committee of Doctors for Reform and, as the details on his own website demonstrate, has a wealth of experience in his field. He is currently Medical Director of CancerPartnersUK, Professor of Cancer Medicine and honorary Consultant Oncologist at Imperial College School of Medicine, Scientific Director of Medical Solutions Plc and was recently appointed Dean of Britain’s first independent Medical School at the University of Buckingham.
