Bermondsey and Old Southwark has selected Loanna Morrison as their parliamentary candidate. Loanna lives in the area and was the Party's candidate in the recent Rotherhithe by-election. She is a journalist and businesswoman with experience nationally and internationally in media and telecommunications. She runs her own business in London as well as being a single mother of two, with a son in the army.
The other finalists were Gemma Townsend and Nicola Bates.
Conservatives are in third place in this seat held by Liberal Democrat Simon Hughes with a projected majority of 5,801.
