The Brighton Argus has reported that three A-listers - Tariq Ahmad, Priti Patel and Simon Walker - will compete with Crawley councillor Mike Weatherley (PPC for Brighton Pavillion in 2005) for the target seat of Hove.
Leading party moderniser Nicholas Boles fought the seat at the last General Election but did not apply to be the Hove Tories' next candidate.
