The Machine - Inside David Cameron's Team
Who are the backroom staffers that make it all happen? ConservativeHome opens its contact book and profiles the key individuals who work the machine. After a chance to ask questions to members of the Conservative team there'll be a take-away copy of the “ConservativeHome Black Book” for each delegate. The Black Book will reflect many weeks of research into the teams that surround David Cameron, George Osborne, William Hague, Boris Johnson, Iain Duncan Smith's social justice team and many others.
The who is going to be who of the next Conservative Parliamentary Party
More than half of Conservative MPs will be newly-elected if David Cameron wins a parliamentary majority. Where do they stand on your issues? Who are likely to be the high fliers? Who are the specialists in health, education and the environment? ConservativeHome will present a unique survey into the attitudes, backgrounds and ambitions of this influential cohort, followed by a panel discussion featuring key Prospective Parliamentary Candidates. The take-away copy of “The Class of 2010” research pack for each delegate will incorporate months of research and inside knowledge from Jonathan Isaby.
The first internet age government
David Cameron’s “post-bureaucratic age” promises a radically different attitude. Using exclusive insights from YouGov’s data vaults, the UK’s leading interpreter of public opinion, Stephan Shakespeare, explains how the Cameron government could harness the power of new media to produce better and more responsive government.
