Middlesbrough - according to Experian research - is ranked at number 324 out of 324 council areas. In other words (according to the BBC website) it "will be the least resilient to such public sector cuts."
The BBC has chosen to go to Middlesbrough for this week's Question Time - one day after the defining day in this government's life, the Comprehensive Spending Review.
They couldn't have chosen a location more guaranteed to find the most voluble critics of Coalition policy.
