I've written before about the plight of the Jedi in these intolerant times (for the avoidance of doubt here on the interweb, where everything is taken literally by somebody, tongue is currently embedded in cheek).
Part of the motivation behind the declaration of themselves as "Jedi" is perhaps a result of Government nosiness with censuses.
In any case, the Sun brings us the news that
1) a hoodie refused to take his hood off in a Job Centre
2) he was asked to leave as a result
3) he pointed out that he was a member of the International Church of Jediism
4) he was sent a written apology from the Job Centre for failing to respect his religion.
Political correctness in extremis, no? This is what you get when you pander to nonsense.
And given that he was in a Job Centre, it seems apposite to ask - how do you think he might get on in a job where he refused to put his hood down..?
