Many ConHome readers may have seen me and my colleagues from the TPA gathering signatures at the Conservative Party Conference for our giant postcard (picutred, right) to President Vaclav Klaus urging him to stand firm on the Lisbon Treaty. Now you can join those who have already sent President Klaus their messages of support by signing our online petition here.
The messages coming from Prague Castle have been mixed in recent weeks, from outright refusal to sign Lisbon to more pessimistic comments, but the game is not over yet. There are undoubtedly many threats being flung at President Klaus by EU leaders, and many incentives being dangled in front of him so it is still crucial that we lend him our support in his brave campaign.
