I was unable to make Prospect magazine's Think Tank of the Year awards last night, but am delighted to hear this morning that the Centre for Social Justice won the top gong of Think Tank of the Year 2009.
Since its founding in 2004, Iain Duncan Smith, Philippa Stroud and their team have conducted huge amounts of detailed research and set an agenda in fighting poverty which David Cameron has embraced and put at the heart of Conservative policy - and they are to be congratulated on doing so.
> Got to the Prospect blog for further details of all the winners
