Cameron doesn't do panic

I've arrived in Brighton and about to go and hear Mr Iain Dale appear on a Question Time-style panel with Ed Balls MP, Caroline Flint, Sunder Katwala and Gaby Hinsliff.

Labour's aim is to get a 5% boost from this Conference in the hope that they can produce (1) a change in the media narrative and (2) a little panic in Tory ranks if the Tory lead dips down to single figures.

The 2007 Tory Conference should have taught them that Cameron does not do panic.
