The Daily Mail is in 100mph outrage mode this morning.
Its front page splash reports Labour Lord Foulkes' attack on General Sir Richard Dannatt. Dannatt had dared to say that British troops in Afghanistan might need more troops.
Foulkes accused him of "giving succour to the enemy".
The Mail screams that Foulkes is not fit to shine the boots of servicemen.
This intervention is only the latest in a series of Labour low points.
What is your nomination for lowest of low points?
Mine would be the suggestion that 9/11 was a good day to bury bad news.
