Here are extracts from two Lib Dem leaflets being distributed for the European elections. Exhibit A (in colour) is being delivered to homes in the East of England and Exhibit B (in black and white) is hitting the doormats of North Southwark and Bermondsey in London.
What they both show is that despite the elections being fought on a version of the Lib Dems' much loved proportional representation - where there is supposedly no such thing as a wasted vote - the Lib Dems are still trying to categorise the contests as two horse races.

Meanwhile, the second leaflet - effectively suggesting that voting Conservative is a waste of time - is the subject of a complaint to the Electoral Commission from one resident (and Conservative member) who received the leaflet through his letterbox.
