Peter Whittle and Nadine Dorries won't approve but I've been 'Twittering' now for just over two months.
Twitter is, of course, full of a lot of people telling their mates that they've had too much to drink / are about to walk the dog / are looking fwd to fisn'n'chips for tea but it's not just personal trivia.
I use Twitter to alert 'followers' to interesting newslinks. This is my latest update (on Barack Obama's foreign policy priorities):
The most useful things about Twittering are seeing other people's updates (MediaGuardian's feed is brilliant for following developments in the, er, media) and having an avenue to report things that don't merit a full ConHome post (or I haven't got time to blog) but are still worth communicating.
