Spot the odd one out: a colossal banking crisis, soaring unemployment, global depression concerns, rising jihadist terrorism, Eastern Europe on the brink and, the quality of coffee at the European Commission.
You would hope that EU Commissioners in Brussels were spending their time and our money on some of the grave problems facing Europe today, but no – instead their spending it on 21 new coffee machines costing £4,400 each (pictured). I doesn’t stop there. Not happy with the quality of coffee that they were getting from the machines, the EU Commission has now also offered training for the staff of each Commissioner on how to make that perfect espresso.
When we’re back in power lets please do something to reform an utterly discredited EU.
