When I commissioned the masthead for ConHome - long before green issues was seriously embraced by the Tory leadership - I included a shield dedicated to conservation. Conservation should be a central part of Conservatism but that doesn't have to mean support for (a) Human-made global warming and (b) The draconian, unilateralisat action urged upon us by the likes of Jonathan Porritt.
